| THINGS TO DO: |
| The condominium is set in a lovely landscaped, well maintained spacious complex with the following facilities:
? Club House open and staffed from 8.00 am to 11.00 p.m. including snack bar, well equipped gym, sauna room, pool table, toilettes. Films for hire. Attraction tickets can also be purchased here.
? Swimming pool with loungers?, tables and chairs, plus hot tub jaccuzzi.
? Tennis court (rackets loaned free of charge) and Vollyball court.
? Children's play area plus bar-b-q area.
? Complex is security patrolled.
Royal Palm Bay complex is on a quiet cul-de-sac called Royal Bay Boulevard (Blvd). This lies off Poinciana Blvd. approximately 1 mile south of highway 192. At the junction of Poinciana Blvd and the 192, in the building behind the 7-11 shop and petrol station, lies the management company offices (see below). From this junction all the major attractions are within easy reach, as are many shops and diners / restaurants.
ATTRACTIONS
Disney World can be reached either by turning left along the 192 (west bound) for c. 5 miles until you come to the ?Maingate? entrance. Alternatively you can keep on Poinciana Blvd. until you reach the 535, at which point you turn left onto the 535 and then left onto International Drive South and follow this into Disney World (c. 5 miles). Sea World is reached by following Poinciana Blvd. until you reach the 535, at which point you turn left onto the 535, then turn right onto International Drive South, then first left onto International Drive (c. 7 miles). Universal Studios is reached by following Poinciana Blvd. until you reach the 535, at which point you turn left onto the 535 and follow this all the way to the I 4, at which point you turn left onto the I 4 (east bound) and look out for the signs for Universal (c. 13 miles).
DINERS / RESTAURANTS
The 192 has many eating houses. Our favourite diner is the IHOP (International House of Pancakes) which is very popular as a breakfast venue ? look out for the blue pitch roof buildings. The Olive Garden is a good Italian restaurant. Also look out for the booklets with discount vouchers to make your money stretch.
SHOPS
The 192 has many, shops, supermarkets and the popular ?Flea Markets?
There is also a large Walmart supermarket close at hand. As you leave Royal Bay Blvd turn left and then take the first left. Follow this road to its end and you will see Walmart on the right. Alternatively, a Publix supermarket is on the corner of the 192 and the 535, which is a little more expensive but much shorter queues. From Royal Bay Blvd turn right and drive up to the 192. Turn right and move over into the left-hand lane. At the next set of traffic lights turn left and Publix is on the right.
Factory outlet malls are numerous and details can be obtained in the resort.
